Why Learn AKKI Kenpo

you are here: home > what we teach

Overview

The AKKI is on the forefront of innovation and creativity. Our art pushes the envelope of traditional thought and action.

AKKI Encylopedia
As the art of American Kenpo is ever evolving, so is the terminology for which to describe its continually expanding theories, concepts and principles.

Our Curriculum
Following is look at our empty hand and weapons curriculum taught in the American Kenpo Karate Schools throughout the world.

Video Clips
The video clips shown range from earlier years that include Mr. Mills teaching and demonstrating in private lessons, camps and seminars up to the present. Some clips will showcase Mr. Mills speed shooting, and various other techniques, drills, sets and forms performed by other members of the AKKI. There are clips that will also show Mr. Parker applying techniques.

Why Learn AKKI Kenpo
While many Kenpo systems are simply adding elements of other arts to make their systems "more complete", AKKI Kenpo teaches ground, stick, and club fighting based on the American Kenpo system. This means you don't have to learn four different arts to get a complete art.
